About the fairies
The Knapwell Wood fairies available in the shop are all designed and handmade in our fairy workshop near Cambridge, using carefully chosen quality materials.
The fairies are carefully created from wool over a wire armature, with beading, fine glitter and decorative trim. They are approximately 12cm tall and each fairy has a cotton loop for displaying. In addition, personalised fairies can be posed on a small wooden stand.
They would make lovely, unique gifts for birthdays, special celebrations (tooth fairy) and are perfect christening keepsake gifts, especially when given by a Fairy Godmother! Or you could collect them and create your own fairy house, theatre, or even wood ...
Each fairy comes beautifully presented in her own keepsake gift box made from natural recycled material, with soft filling to protect her. As each fairy is individually handmade your fairy may not be exactly the same as the one in the picture - but she will be unique to you!
They are suitable for ages 4 and up, however they are designed to be gently handled and are a decorative item rather than a toy.

Personalisation
Any fairy can be personalised by ordering a wooden name tag, which can be engraved with up to 10 characters.
